An Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine is a high-speed, GMP-compliant industrial machine designed to clean glass and plastic bottles before they go for filling, sealing, or labeling. In simple terms, bottles are automatically fed through a stainless steel wire mesh conveyor, where high-pressure spray nozzles blast water jets — both inside and outside the bottle — removing dust, particles, and contaminants. Once washed, bottles come out properly drained and are ready for the next stage of your production line. It's a fully automated process that saves time, reduces manual labor, and ensures every bottle meets hygiene standards.

Whether you're manufacturing syrups, tonics, herbal juices, essential oils, or cosmetic serums — the bottles that carry your product must be absolutely clean and contamination-free before filling. Regulatory bodies like CDSCO, WHO-GMP, and state drug authorities require proper pre-cleaning of containers. A single contaminated bottle can compromise your entire batch, lead to product recalls, or fail quality audits. An Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine ensures every bottle is uniformly clean, protecting your brand, your customer, and your manufacturing license.

The Lodha Pharma Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine (Model: LI-LBW) is designed to handle:
  • Round glass bottles (no change parts required — saves changeover time)
  • Flat glass bottles (with change parts)
  • PET & HDPE plastic bottles commonly used in Ayurvedic syrups, health tonics, and cosmetics
  • Bottle sizes ranging from 10 ml to 200 ml and beyond, depending on model configuration
So whether you're bottling a 30 ml herbal drop or a 200 ml cosmetic face wash, this machine has you covered.

Yes, absolutely. The Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine is designed and built in strict compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and WHO-GMP guidelines. Key compliance features include:
  • All water-contact parts are made from SS 316 stainless steel
  • The complete machine frame is fabricated from stainless steel — no rust, no contamination risk
  • Separation is maintained between the feeding zone and discharge zone to prevent cross-contamination
  • All mechanical drives are isolated from the washing zone
  • Approved materials are used throughout for sanitary construction
This makes it audit-ready for government drug inspections, WHO pre-qualification audits, and export market regulatory approvals.

The machine supports multiple interchangeable wash cycles, giving you full flexibility to design a washing sequence as per your product requirements. Typical configurations include:
  • Fresh water rinse (recycled)
  • Demineralized (DM) water rinse
  • Purified water (PW) final rinse
  • Hot air drying (optional)
For injectable or sterile liquid manufacturers, the wash sequence can be configured to meet pharmacopoeial water standards. This flexibility is one of the most appreciated features among pharmaceutical production managers.

The Lodha Pharma Linear Bottle Washing Machine offers high-speed output ideal for mid to large-scale pharmaceutical production lines. Output speed varies by bottle size and model, but the machine is engineered to keep pace with downstream filling and sealing equipment — ensuring your entire line runs without bottlenecks. For exact speed specifications matching your bottle size and production requirement, it's best to discuss directly with the Lodha Pharma technical team.

Yes — and it's actually a very popular choice among Ayurvedic manufacturers across India. Ayurvedic syrups (Asavas, Arishtas), herbal juices, health tonics, and herbal oils are typically bottled in amber glass or PET bottles ranging from 100 ml to 500 ml. The Linear Bottle Washing Machine handles these formats efficiently. Since Ayurvedic manufacturing units are also subject to AYUSH GMP guidelines, having a proper automated bottle washing system strengthens your compliance and reduces the risk of contamination from residual dust or particles — especially important when dealing with natural herbal ingredients that may attract particulate matter.

This is a common concern for multi-SKU Ayurvedic manufacturers, and it's one of the key design advantages of this machine. For round bottles, no change parts are needed at all — you can switch bottle sizes with minimal adjustment. Change parts are only required when switching to flat bottles or different neck sizes, and even those changeovers are designed to be quick and straightforward. This means less production downtime and more output per shift — something that directly impacts your bottom line.

Yes. The Lodha Pharma LI-LBW model is suitable for a wide range of production scales. Whether you're running a single-shift operation producing a few thousand bottles a day or scaling up to multi-shift high-volume production, this machine can be configured to match your throughput. It's also designed so that bottles can be manually fed from a feed table if you don't yet have a fully automated conveyor system — making it accessible even for growing manufacturers who are in the process of scaling up.

Definitely. Cosmetic manufacturers have very specific requirements — bottles need to be pristine, streak-free, and completely free of dust or debris before filling high-value products like serums, face oils, or premium shampoos. The high-pressure spray nozzles of the Linear Bottle Washing Machine ensure thorough internal and external cleaning, and bottles come out with minimal residual water droplets — which is critical when you're dealing with water-sensitive formulations. The machine handles both glass and plastic cosmetic bottles commonly used in the beauty and personal care industry.

Yes. Lodha Pharma equipment is manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certification and is designed to meet international standards including CE compliance. If you're exporting cosmetic products to markets in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, or Africa, having GMP-compliant production equipment — including properly certified bottle washing machinery — is a key requirement of buyer audits and regulatory submissions. The SS 316 construction, documented wash cycles, and cleanable design of this machine align well with ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP) guidelines.

Yes — the machine is designed with precision-aligned nozzles that direct jets at the center of the bottle, and the conveyor handling is smooth and controlled. For specialty or delicate bottle formats, the Lodha Pharma technical team can also advise on appropriate settings or optional accessories to ensure bottles move through the wash tunnel without risk of chipping, scratching, or breakage.

The entire machine — including the base frame, conveyor, nozzles, pumps, and all water-contact components — is fabricated from stainless steel. Parts in direct contact with washing water and jets are specifically made from SS 316, which is the pharmaceutical and food-grade standard known for its superior corrosion resistance, non-reactivity with cleaning agents, and ease of sanitization. This matters because it ensures the machine itself does not become a source of contamination — a critical requirement in pharma, Ayurvedic, and cosmetic manufacturing.

The machine is designed with GMP principles in mind, which means cleanability is built into its architecture. The stainless steel surfaces are easy to wipe down, all water-contact parts are accessible for inspection and cleaning, and the separation between the feeding and discharge zones prevents cross-batch contamination. Routine maintenance involves checking pump performance, inspecting nozzles for blockage, and ensuring conveyor alignment — all tasks that your maintenance team can handle without specialized external support.

Yes. Lodha International LLP — with over 15,500 pharmaceutical machines installed worldwide since 1995 — provides comprehensive after-sales service including installation, commissioning, operator training, and ongoing technical support. Their dedicated service team handles installations both within India and internationally, ensuring your machine is set up correctly and your operators are confident in running it from day one.

Absolutely. The Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine is designed to integrate seamlessly with downstream equipment — including liquid filling machines, powder filling machines, cap sealing machines, and labeling machines — forming a complete, automated production line. This is particularly valuable for pharmaceutical and Ayurvedic manufacturers who want to reduce manual handling between stages and build an end-to-end GMP-compliant packaging line.

Great question. Here's a simple way to think about it:
  • Linear Bottle Washing Machine — best suited for high-speed, continuous production with larger batch sizes. Bottles move in a straight line through the tunnel, allowing for multiple wash zones and higher throughput. Ideal for pharmaceutical syrups, Ayurvedic liquids, and cosmetic products with consistent bottle formats.
  • Rotary Bottle Washing Machine — better for smaller batch sizes or labs, with manual loading/unloading. Works on the Geneva mechanism for intermittent, thorough cleaning. Good for producers who frequently change bottle types.
If you're building or expanding a mid-to-large production facility, the Linear model is generally the preferred choice for efficiency and scalability.
