Process Operation of Multijet Ampoule and Vial Washing Machine

The dump loading procedure may be used, if ampoules/vials are received in ready to dump boxes, which will have exactly into the same number of ampoule/vial and the pitch, as loading tray. Alternatively, each ampoule/vial has to be arranged into the tray. The loading tray/s is placed directly into the machine & the handle bar is lowered for ampoule/vial for automatic centering of washing needles into the ampoule/vial mouths. The top cover is also lowered & switch is operated for automatic sequent

A Multijet Ampoule and Vial Washing Machine is a semi-automatic, GMP-compliant washing machine that cleans both the inside and outside of glass ampoules and vials before they are filled with any injectable, liquid, or cosmetic product. If you're running a pharma, Ayurvedic, or cosmetic manufacturing unit in India, this machine ensures your containers are particle-free, residue-free, and absolutely clean before product filling — which is non-negotiable for regulatory compliance and product quality.

Yes, absolutely. The Multijet Ampoule and Vial Washing Machine is specifically designed for small to medium-scale injectable and liquid product organizations. It is compact in size, easy to operate, and does not require a large production floor. If you're a growing Ayurvedic company that's planning to add injectable syrups or liquid herbal formulations in glass vials, this machine fits your setup perfectly without heavy capital investment.

Yes. Cosmetic manufacturers who produce ampoule-based serums, hair care treatments, or skin brightening liquids in glass vials can use this machine. Since the machine washes both internally and externally using pressurized jets, it ensures the glass containers are completely clean before any cosmetic formulation is filled — which is essential for product purity, shelf life, and brand reputation.

The machine uses positive and pressurized jets through specially designed washing needles that enter the mouth of each ampoule or vial. In one complete washing cycle, the machine performs six sequential washes — which can include purified water (WFI), demineralized water, recycled water, and compressed air, depending on your requirements. Both internal and external surfaces are washed, ensuring thorough cleanliness at every cycle.

The machine is designed to handle:
  • Ampoules: 1 ml to 20 ml
  • Glass Vials: 2 ml to 100 ml
Different sizes are accommodated using change parts (combi trays and needle plates), so a single machine can serve multiple product lines — which is a big advantage for Ayurvedic and cosmetic units with diverse product portfolios.

The standard machine performs six washing stations in one complete cycle using a mechanical motorized cam-operated valve system. If your production line needs customized washing sequences — such as adding an extra WFI rinse or compressed air drying — you can opt for a timer-operated solenoid valve system or a microprocessor-controlled timer system as per your GMP and process needs.

Yes. One of the key advantages of the Multijet system is simultaneous internal and external washing. The pressurized washing needles clean the interior, while the external surface is also washed during the cycle — ensuring that no dust, particles, or residue remain on the container before filling.

Yes. The Multijet Ampoule and Vial Washing Machine is built in full compliance with the latest GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. The entire machine is constructed from SS 304/316 stainless steel for all contact parts, meeting the sanitation and material requirements of Indian pharma regulations (Schedule M), WHO-GMP, and cGMP guidelines. For Ayurvedic manufacturers applying for GMP certification under AYUSH, this machine helps meet the cleanliness standards required for vial-based Ayurvedic liquid products.

The machine features an acrylic top cover for full visibility of the washing process, online polycarbonate housing with replaceable PP filter cartridges (5 or 10 microns), all-SS contact parts, and an automatic safety stop if the cover is lifted during operation. These design features directly support compliance documentation and audit requirements across Indian pharma, Ayurvedic, and cosmetic licensing bodies.

The machine is equipped with a built-in safety mechanism — if the acrylic top cover is lifted during an active wash cycle, the machine automatically stops and resumes from the exact same point when the cover is closed again. This protects both the operator and the product from contamination or accidents, which is a critical requirement in GMP-certified facilities.

Loading is simple and operator-friendly. There are two methods:
  1. Dump Loading — If your ampoules or vials come in ready-to-dump boxes that match the tray pitch exactly, you can directly dump them into the loading tray without manual arrangement.
  2. Manual Arrangement — Each ampoule or vial is arranged individually into the tray.
Once the tray is placed in the machine and the handle bar is lowered, the washing needles automatically center themselves into the mouth of each ampoule or vial — no manual alignment needed.

The machine uses replaceable PP filter cartridges of 5 or 10 microns housed in online polycarbonate units. The frequency of replacement depends on your water quality and production volume, but the design makes it easy and quick to swap cartridges without any tool. Regular filter maintenance ensures consistently clean washing water and helps you pass internal quality checks.

Yes, this machine is very well-suited for Ayurvedic manufacturers producing herbal injectables, liquid distillates, or classical preparations filled into glass vials. Since AYUSH-licensed injectable units must comply with cleanliness standards similar to allopathic injectables, using a GMP-compliant Multijet washer is a critical requirement. The six-stage washing cycle with WFI and purified water rinse ensures your vials meet the particulate matter and cleanliness standards required before Ayurvedic liquid filling.

Absolutely. Cosmetic ampoule serums are filled into the same type of 1 ml to 20 ml glass ampoules used in pharma. The Multijet Washer thoroughly cleans these containers before filling, ensuring zero particle contamination inside the ampoule — which directly impacts your serum's clarity, customer experience, and shelf stability. This is particularly important if you export cosmetic ampoules or supply to premium skincare brands.

Yes. With appropriate change parts and needle plates, the same machine can be used to wash vials for injectables (2 ml to 100 ml) and oral liquid products. This makes it a highly versatile investment, especially for multi-product pharma units that manufacture both sterile injectables and oral syrups or suspensions in glass vials.

The output depends on the size of ampoules or vials being washed and the needle plate configuration used. The machine is available with needle plates of 53, 100, 189, 240, and 340 holes — meaning it can wash that many containers per cycle simultaneously. For medium-scale production requirements, this batch-based output is ideal. Lodha Pharma can customize the configuration based on your daily production target.

Lodha International LLP provides complete after-sales support including installation, operator training, and supply of change parts for different ampoule and vial sizes. Spare filter cartridges, needle plates, and combi trays are available directly from the manufacturer. Since the company is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat — a major pharma machinery hub — spare parts and service support are accessible across India.

Lodha International LLP is located at Gajanan Industrial Hub, Vatva, Ahmedabad – 382445, Gujarat, India. They supply machines across all major Indian states including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and more. The Multijet Ampoule and Vial Washing Machine is built with a robust stainless steel frame and durable components designed for years of continuous production use. The modular design — with replaceable change parts, filter cartridges, and upgradable control systems — means you can scale up or adapt the machine as your production needs grow, without replacing the entire unit. For small and mid-size pharma, Ayurvedic, or cosmetic manufacturers, this is a smart, long-term investment.
