Process Operation of R&D Lab Bottle Filling and Capping Machine

Containers move on an SS slat conveyor after receiving supplies from a washing machine or unscrambler. They are directed below the filling nozzles through a feed worm and in-feed star wheel. The filling station consists of a volumetric filling head and a central rotating liquid reservoir tank, which is continuously supplied with liquid from an external source. The liquid in-feed is controlled automatically by sensing the liquid level in the reservoir tank with a floating level switch that activates a pneumatically operated solenoid valve. Fill volume adjustment is made with a screw, changing the volume of all syringes simultaneously. Fine adjustment of individual syringes is possible with a mechanism provided on top of each syringe. This efficient operation enables precise and hygienic handling of liquids, making the R&D lab bottle filling and capping machine an important tool for laboratories and production facilities. Its advanced features and strong construction have reliable performance and easy integration into various industrial processes.

R&D Lab Bottle Filling & Capping Machine – FAQs

A compact bench-top system that accurately fills and seals glass or plastic bottles for pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, and cosmetic R&D sample production.

It fills bottles with calibrated volume via anti-drip nozzles and applies torque-controlled screw, dropper, or CR caps to create sealed, tamper-evident samples.

Oral syrups, suspensions, nasal drops, ophthalmic solutions, mouthwashes, topical lotions, medicated shampoos, and other liquid preparations.

It produces sealed samples of Arishtas, Asavas, syrups, and herbal oils required for AYUSH registration and stability studies.

It enables fast development of sealed sample batches for toners, serums, shampoos, oils, and lotions for stability and consumer testing.

5 ml to 1000 ml glass or plastic bottles with filling accuracy of ±0.5% to ±1%.

Peristaltic pumps, ceramic piston pumps, and gear pumps — selected based on formulation viscosity and regulatory requirements.

Yes — with gear pumps, heated reservoirs, and wide-bore nozzles for precise filling of Ayurvedic oils and viscous liquids.

It removes oxygen from the bottle headspace to prevent oxidation, potency loss, and colour change during stability studies.

It produces uniform, accurately filled and sealed samples required for long-term, intermediate, and accelerated stability programs.

Screw caps, CR closures, tamper-evident caps, droppers, pumps, sprays, and flip-top closures.

Anti-drip nozzles, bottom-up filling, and adjustable fill speed minimize foaming and air entrapment.

Yes — compatible with HDPE, PET, PETG, PP, and specialty cosmetic packaging materials.

Material certificates, calibration records, filling accuracy data, torque validation records, and IQ documentation.

System flushing, manual disassembly cleaning, WFI rinse, and documented cleaning SOP verification.

Typically 5–20 bottles per minute — ideal for R&D stability and regulatory sample batches.

By delivering documented fill accuracy, torque consistency, and traceable batch records for cosmetic regulatory compliance.

Yes — it pairs with bench-top label applicators for complete R&D sample preparation workflows.

Installation, training, spare parts supply, calibration services, and ongoing technical support.
