  • The shelves are made from stainless steel (SS 316) with baffles for efficient drying
  • Trays are made from stainless steel (SS 316) without back folding
  • The condenser (shell & tube) and receiver are made from stainless steel (SS 304) for recovering solvents
  • It has digital temperature indicators at hot water inlet and outlet points, as well as in the vacuum line
  • Dial type vacuum and temperature gauges are provided for easy monitoring
  • Glass views are included on the door and receiver for visibility
  • A flow glass allows you to monitor condensation between the condenser and receiver
  • It has a validation port and provision for nitrogen purging
  • A vacuum break valve is included in the vacuum line for safety
  • The construction and finish meet cGMP standards for quality assurance

Process Operation of R&D Lab Tray Dryer Machine

The trays that hold the wet solids are first filled with them and then placed into the dryer chambers. Fresh air enters through the inlet and flows through the heaters, where it gets heated up. The warm air circulates inside the chamber, effectively drying the wet solids. Blower fans inside the dryer aid in the circulation and heat transfer process. A control panel located outside the dryer allows for easy regulation of temperature and other parameters, providing precise control over the drying process.

R&D Rotary Mini Tablet Press Machine – FAQs

A compact laboratory-scale rotary compression machine used to produce uniformly weighted tablets for pharma, Ayurvedic, and cosmetic product development.

A rotating turret carries punch-die sets through die filling, pre-compression, main compression, and ejection stages to continuously produce tablets.

Immediate-release, sustained-release, bilayer, effervescent, dispersible, chewable, sublingual, and mini-tablets.

It helps optimize compression parameters to achieve consistent weight, hardness, and dissolution as per AYUSH GMP standards.

For developing pressed powder compacts, effervescent tablets, solid bars, and cosmetic supplement tablets.

Typically 7 to 19 stations, producing 5,000–25,000 tablets per hour for R&D batch needs.

Compression force, turret speed, tablet weight, thickness, hardness, disintegration, and friability.

DoE compression studies generate process understanding data for regulatory submissions.

Supports B-tooling or D-tooling punches conforming to TSM or EU standards.

Produces statistically valid data from as little as 200–500g of formulation blend.

All product-contact parts are SS 316L stainless steel for GMP compliance.

Yes — two-stage filling and compression enable development of bilayer combination tablets.

Full disassembly, validated cleaning, swab testing, and SOP documentation ensure GMP compliance.

Force transducers, tablet thickness measurement, and real-time data logging systems.

Allows systematic compression adjustments to meet pharmacopoeial dissolution requirements.

Round, oval, oblong, capsule-shaped, square, triangular, embossed, and mini-tablets.

Uses identical tooling geometry and specific compression force to predict production performance.

Yes — specialized 2–4 mm tooling enables pediatric and multiparticulate applications.

Installation, tooling supply, calibration, IQ/OQ documentation, and troubleshooting support.

Selection depends on tooling compatibility, compression force range, monitoring needs, throughput, GMP compliance, and budget.
